Synergistic Effects of HDAC and BET Inhibitors have been Observed in Different Cancer Types : A Part from the Book Chapter : Unveiling the Potential of Combined BET and HDAC Inhibition in MYC-driven Medulloblastoma Treatment: A Promising Epigenetic Approach

Medical

Synergistic effects of HDAC and BET inhibitors have been observed in different cancer types, including neuroblastoma and glioblastoma. However, concurrent targeting of BET proteins and HDACs in MB remains unexplored. In this study, we tested the effects of BET inhibitor and HDAC inhibitor co-treatment on global gene expression, including SYK and MSI1 oncogenes; MYC protein expression; and anticancer efficacy against MYC-driven MB in vitro and in vivo.
