In this post, we present a brief overview of our recently published book chapter titled “Chronotherapy and Pulsatile Drug Delivery Systems: Aligning Pharmacotherapy with Circadian Rhythms”

Chronotherapy drug delivery systems represent promising approaches toward precision medicine by optimising drug action according to circadian biology. Integrating chronobiology into pharmaceutical development can significantly improve therapeutic outcomes, particularly in diseases with predictable rhythmic patterns. Future research should focus on advanced programmable systems, biomonitoring tools for rhythm assessment, and clinical trials validating circadian-aligned therapies.
